SfAN is a registered non-profit organization
Thanks to the efforts of SfAN president and executive board, SfAN is now a non-profit corporation registered in the state of Rhode Island.
This is a big milestone in celebration of our 10th anniversary.
We look forward to many great milestones for SfAN in the future years ahead.
SfAN partners with MEMBS in Dubai, Istanbul, Doha and Abu Dhabi
SfAN was a scientific partner with the Middle East Molecular Biology Society from their inception in 2014. Members of SfAN have helped with organizing, planning and presenting at MEMBS congresses.
SfAN represented at IBRO-MENA 2014 in Doha, Qatar
SfAN is a scientific partner with the International Brain Research Organization - Middle East North Africa chapter (IBRO-MENA). IBRO-MENA under the leadership of Dr. Hilal Lashuel hosted a minisymposium and a mini-Neuroscience school. IBRO-MENA sponsored the travel expenses for a number of SfAN members to attend the meeting as follows:

SfAN members meet every year at the Neuroscience meeting for the Society for Neuroscience as a satellite social event.

SfAN member, Dr. Karem Al-Zoubi, Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Jordan University of Science and Technology is the organizer for the IBRO-MENA school and symposium for 2017. The event will take place Nov 20 - 23, 2017 in Irbid, Jordan.
